Breathable membranes and moisture control
Our cellulose insulation, and the membrane we use in the Retrovive system to hold it in place, are ‘breathable’. This is critical to avoid moisture building up.

The sound-absorbing benefits of underfloor insulation
Along with great thermal performance, the Retrovive cellulose-fibre insulation system has excellent acoustic properties.

Thermal performance of Retrovive cellulose insulation
The Retrovive system, meets the latest UK building regulations performance requirements and eliminates draughts for additional comfort

Cellulose insulation: excellent fire resistance
Our cellulose insulation material, made from recycled newspaper, is one of the best insulations in a fire. Whereas our cellulose acts like a fire blanket, fibreglass insulation does not have the same density and gives very little benefit in a fire.

Why mice hate cellulose fibre insulation
Our cellulose-fibre insulation material deters mice. The Agricultural Development and Advisory Service conducted a study to establish the repellence to mice of Warmcel cellulose-fibre insulation treated with the salts. The clear conclusion was that it was almost totally repellent.

What is our cellulose-fibre insulation made of?
Our sustainable, safe, and smart cellulose-fibre insulation is made from recycled newspaper
