Retrovive was developed from a conviction that old houses don’t have to be cold and inefficient.

The Retrovive system was first developed as part of Devana Insulation Ltd in 2012, when the Devana team recognised the growing importance of insulating the tens of millions of period homes in Britain.

Devana Insulation was founded by Stephen Collings, a designer and developer with nearly forty years’ experience. A classically-trained pianist, Stephen takes a meticulous and intellectual approach to problem-solving and designed the Retrovive system as a sophisticated but simple solution to a widespread need.

In response to overwhelming customer demand the team developed Retrovive as a stand-alone service, developing many innovations along the way including the rapid underfloor hangers and a specialist toolkit that enables installers to complete a project with the minimum of disruption to customers.

Now a great success story, Retrovive has made many hundreds of customers warmer and more comfortable over the years.
